Dieses Jahr haben wir eine ganz besondere Überraschung für euch: die amtierende EuroCosplay Meisterin! Wir sind stolz und freuen uns sehr Iloon in unserer Jury begrüßen zu dürfen. Nicht nur ihre wunderschönen, detailverliebten Kostüme, sondern auch ihre umfangreiche Bühnen- und Wettbewerbserfahrung machen sie zu einer wahren Bereicherung für unser Team. Um sie ein bisschen besser kennen zu lernen, haben wir sie schon vorab ein bisschen unter die Lupe genommen ;)

 1. What inspired you to cosplay?/ Why do you cosplay?
The inspiration, is the character
The canvas, is me
Cosplay gives me the great opportunity to combine 2 hobbies of mine, crafting and acting/ performing.

 3. If someone told you they liked your cosplay, what would you do?
It is always a pleassure to hear that after all the blood, sweat and tears being put into the costume.
Compliments always give me a boost and motivation to keep going and I hope I am able to do the same to these people.

 4. What is your favorite part in putting on a cosplay?
Doing the make-up work with the final touch putting on the wig. I hear from a lot of people that at the moment when I put on my wig, I am getting eaten by the character.

5. How is it for you to be part of the Euro Cosplay judging team?
Very exciting. EuroCosplay has a unique judging system, which makes every single costume, no matter how big it is, interesting to give it a close look.

 6. What are you looking for in the competition and the participants?
Finishing and refined craftsmanship. That the participants give their very best to show their love for the costume and character and most of all that they will have fun.

 7. What is your advice for cosplay beginners?
Practise makes "perfect", but don't go for idealism. It will only make you unhappy and feel unconfident.

Vielen Dank, dass du dir die Zeit genommen hast. Wir freuen uns sehr auf die Dokomi und sind schon sehr gespannt, was du an schönen Kostümen mitbringen wirst.

Für alle, die Iloon gerne einmal ganz in real und zum anfassen treffen möchten, die sind herzlich zu unserem EuroCosplay Panel eingeladen. Stattfinden wird das ganze am Sonntag von 12:30 - 13:30 auf der Cosplay Stage in Raum 2. Dort werden wir all eure Fragen rund ums Euro Cosplay beantworten. Außer Iloon werden zusätzlich noch BlahMage (Finalist 2012),  Raider (Finalist 2013) und chibinis-chan (Orga-Leitung EC Germany) anwesend sein um all eure Fragen zu beantworten. Wir freuen uns auf euren Besuch und hoffen eure Vorbereitungen für die Con laufen gut :D
