Hymn to the Night
A candle shining bright
Your face shines in the fairly light
Around you is the dark moonlit night
Slowly I regain my nighttime sight
It is the night that brings the dreams
It is the darkness in which the freedom dwells
Your face and cheeks seem to be wet
Though your eyes show the purest love
What can I do for you, oh tell me,
That you, my Darling, can love again?
It is the that morning wakes you up
It is the morning that casts away your nightly dreams
Trust me and take my offered hand
I'll lead you to a lunar land
It is far and hidden in the stars
It is the land where we can love forevermore
It is the dusk that brings the night
But it is the dawn that brings the morn
I will love you until the end of time
Until the End of time I will stay with you
I will dry the salty water from your cheeks
By simply kissing away your tears
So, hold the nights in your days
For the morning will come for sure...
