When Kyo woke up late at night, Dai was curled up beside him. A soft smile graced dry lips and carefully the singer sat up. His throat still hurt like he had swallowed broken glass, but the pain was dulled down by medication. He still felt fuzzy around the edges, but the need to pee was weighing far more than the fuzzy edge on his senses.
His naked feet hit the cool floor and he padded over into the tiny attached bathroom, where he relieved himself and nearly suffered from a heart attack, when the door behind him was wrangled open and Dai stood inside, his eyes wide and wild.
"Tooru…what…why…you could have woken me to help", Dai stuttered. He had woken up seconds earlier and realized that the warm body beside him wasn't there anymore.
Kyo gestured softly to show he was sorry and cleaned his hands, before he padded back to the bed and waited for Daisuke, so he could curl up against him again. He reached for the notepad he used for communication and wrote down a few sentences. 'I'm sorry…didn't want to wake you. You looked so cute and relaxed. When will I be allowed to go home?'
After Daisuke had also taken care of business, he came back to the bed and sat down beside Kyo. "…it's okay…it's just I'm used to wake up with you beside me…and you weren't there and…I guess I panicked", he told him and placed a soft kiss against Kyos lips. Afterwards he smiled. "As for going home…the doctor told me they want to watch out for bleeding for today and if nothing happens, you will be allowed to leave tomorrow morning on condition you stay with someone who can watch out for you. I told them to go fuck themselves since you would be living with me anyways."
A beautiful smile graced Kyos face when he heard he would be allowed to leave soon. He couldn't wait to get home, but a yawn wrestled his way on his face and made him smile a moment more, before he took up to write again. 'I'm happy…finally going home…and yes…I want to stay with you…although I will need a couple of things from home.', he wrote down, pushing the notepad into Daisukes hands and curling up beneath the sheets, while listening to Daisukes soft laughter.
