Mythical

"Mythical" is just that: a myth. Or is it? What exactly is a myth? Is the world of the Gods just a rumor, or is the world that we know just a dream?

Alrik, one man that some consider "blessed," walks this line between the mortals and gods, knowing both but belonging to neither.



"Mythical" is a story inspired by the legends referenced within it. A single conversation with a friend who stated that people "don't find inspiration in the classics they once did" motivated me to prove him wrong. . .and breaking through writer's block at the same time.

This is a piece of fiction; while there may be hidden fragments of truth, one should not expect everything within it to be real. Any likeness to people, real or fictional, is strictly coincidence.

P.S. As of 31.08.2008, I have begun to work on this piece more often, constantly revising things I overlooked. The Prologue and Chapter 1 were edited from the original, and more edits on Chapters 2 and 3 will come. . .eventually ^_^
