This was a peice of work that I did back in my sophomore year of college. There was alot of boredom and ANGST behind the original...
With a few months, I changed it with a new attitude.
Now, its..."dark." It is the only word I can put to it.
Don't mind the title...its only temporary until I decide on something for it...
Think anime-style, and I am sure that you can get a decent image in your minds...

For me it's not dark ... it is grey ... grey as the concrete monstrosities that remind me of hopelessness, drab and with the cold feeling of being dead inwards.

Parks and Loverqueril. I swear I did not read it when I came up with one or another Ending for TCBOT, though it strongly reminds me even though the outcome is quite different.
But so is the overall darkness of the story just another kind of the darkness that can be found with humans.
Here one can almost taste the frustration and disappointment in the air. Fun is not the thing to have with this littel piece. Never the less it is good.

Well done, really.
The only thing I can honestly criticize is the first bit of dialogue. It had me confused - which character is speaking is a little hard to discern. Or was for me, anyway.
The rest - brilliant. I love the description, the way you play around with words.
