Yay! After working some days it's finnished.
I'm finnished.

God.

But why America x Iceland?
Well, first off there’s actually lots of historical stuff between these two, for example, did you know that the US helped Iceland gain independence in the middle of WW2? no? well, now you know. The US army was also stationed in Iceland during WW2 to protect the Island (yes Iceland was actually attacked) and woah they even came back again afterwards (in 1951) to protect Iceland even further I mean isn’t that cute they protected a totally defenseless newly independent country with hardly any money from the rest of the world and they stayed TILL 2006 and btw Iceland doesn’t have an army so the Americans stationed there were basically Icelands defense force for 55 years. They actually secured it in a way that made an attack on Iceland be on the same level as a direct attack on the US wOAH
oh and America was the first country to acknowledge Iceland’s independence yes

guess where the US trained for their moon landing!! Yes!!! Iceland!!! Now have fun imagining an AU for that uvu<333

as we all know Iceland has a really high cola and coffee consumption rate which makes them have the same favourite drinks isn’t that nice yes it is

also as characters they are just so cute together and they would complement one another so well, if u don’t understand let me explain I gladly will
first, let me portray America. We have the typical adorable dork-type here, with usually lots of energy but as every normal human being he has his down phases too (e.g. the storage cleaning series) . He is a very positive character and wants to be a hero aye
then Iceland is…well, rather quiet compared to America but apparently cool and a bit mysterious on the outside, hot on the inside and though he tries to act all mature and stuff he’s actually just a teenager with teenager problems and his characterization even says he has an immature side
now tell me his immature side wouldn’t fit well with America I fucking dare you

and damn America’s hero thing fits their historical relation so well

well anyway we have two teenagers (hooray gay teenager pairing)with rather contrasting characters, a calm one and an energetic one, but I believe they could also switch places at time there, as for cases when Iceland’s hot temper shows up. They could sort of…fill out what the other misses and make each other into better people, America might be a bit more serious after arguing so much with Iceland and Iceland might loosen himself a little but yeah that’s what happens in the relationship then

so back to the gay teenager ship thing, (that alone is actually a pro argument itself, isn’t it?) a dork and a wannabe-grown-up are a great combination, yes? Yes.

another contrast is that America is basically the center of the whole world’s attention and Iceland well uhm just isn’t even close to far from it, I bet my butt on Iceland actually being happy about receiving attention from him for once

AND ALSO DON’T YOU THINK AL’S EXPLORER SENSES MUST BE TINGLING THERE I mean Iceland such a beautiful island with so much nature and wildlife, volcanoes and woahhhh that island is practically alive yes it’s canon that America has some kind of explorer spark in case u forgot AND HIS HOBBY IS ARCHAEOLOGY why do so few people ever make use of this????

Oh wait that sounded really pervy but I swear I don’t mean it that way I honestly mean it in a geographical sense

So yeah in conclusion AmeIce even makes sense despite them never having met in the canon series yet and is uber cute so I’d recommend shipping it even just as a brotp

That’s it. That’s a text.
