YES! I made it in time! Barely but I did!... So his weapon is based on a Bō... but like hell I'll call it that officially! I'm not going to bother to look up all the Katas and positions >_> Also a Bō doesn't have retractable blades, so... it's officially a STAFF See that little red line there in the middle of the Staff? That's where the two parts are connected... That’show the blades are retracted... it's a safety mechanism so that: 1. He can't accidentally cut himself while spinning it 2. Random people can't turn it into a more dangerous weapon so easily 3. He can use it as a Defence Weapon (preferably) and as an Offence Weapon (if necessary) The blades are made out of Haxorus Tusks by the way... (hence the red tips, no blood!) As to say -] damn sharp (steel cutting wtf), damn unbreakable, electrically non-conducting (as opposed to metal blades) How to use it? "Show off" Bō-Kata (recognizable due to massive amount of pelvic-thrusting and idle spinning) "Real" Bō-Kata (recognizable due to massive amount of screaming and proper Kata sequences Something in between (I'd prefer this because it's a good mix between "serious" and "show".... but still too much screaming ;_; ) Nesti will NEVER scream when using his staff... His sensitive ears would start bleeding I think O.o To the picture... It took me at least an hour to find a Kata position that wasn't screaming "I HAS A BIG STICK TO HIT YAAAA!"... this one seems rather pacifistic... I knew immediately I wanted him in Tanktop and pants rolled up and barefoot... but I spent half an hour on deciding on a top design as well, since the Audino pink had to go in somehow... I'm happy with it... I'm not sooo happy with the pants... He's not that HUGELY Fanservice-y equipped anyway but it still looks a bit awkward... meh... The muscles... yeah, one reason why I wanted him half naked... I use all my PGA pictures as a drawing/colouring training so... I like anatomy... it doesn't necessarily always like me, but... yeah... same goes for the sinews and veins... I could have added so much more there, but that would have become ridiculous... He's only 18 and not a body builder.... He DOES have some well trained arms and legs though. Why? Because there's always heavy stuff to work with in the PokeCenter? (carrying patients around? I can imagine some freshly caught Pokémon don't want to go back into their balls after healing and have to be wrestled into submission XD ) DA-People: But it's just an Audino! They don't have muscles! Semi: ... Oh yeah? Those huge amounts of EXP you get from defeating them aren't there for nothing, ya know? Speaking of Wild Audinos... I first was considering drawing the academy's gym... but then I didn't really know if we have one or how it looks so I just went with... frigging Rustling Tall Grass because he's an Audino... where else would you meet him? Also I hope I will NEVER EVER in my life have to draw grass again >_>... or at least not in the next months... I totally loved doing the tiny little details... like the reflection on the staff and all those tiny mud spots and the tiny tufts of grass... I like doing tiny detail stuff... but DAMN do I hate doing backgrounds... It would probably have been even more detailed if I had started with it earlier ^^° <-- lazy And now I'll go to bed because... DAMN I'm tired... That was the last of the I. Assignments... *small yeay!* If I forgot something, I'll add it to the description tomorrow... |
