| Don Rosa has created the Clan McDuck, he’s given his favourite character a family and a rich historical background, so I thought I’d do the same for my dearest Disney Duck character ever – Magica DeSpell! Here I will introduce to you the members of the DeSpell Clan, an old and powerful family of witches and wizards. Most of the characters are my creation, but some already existed beforehand and I just adopted them and modified them a bit according to my personal views. I’ll provide some info about them and what they’re like and – of course – my illustrations (this is an art page after all =3). Nice comments are always welcome and appreciated! <3 Savvy!? Fine! So, here we go: Karoline DeSpell ~ *1315 ~ older sister of Lucrezia and Liliana (actually their half-sister, as she has a different father) and aunt of Magica ~ married to Boz, mother of Severino, Maurizio and Fiorenza and grandmother of Riccardo, Mathilda and Wanda (It’s the same girl like the one called „Minima“, but as a name I still prefer the German version “Wanda” ) ~ Appearance: rather tall and thin woman ~ waist-length light-blonde, in the lower parts pretty frizzy hair that has some grey strands in it ~ azure-blue eyes, painted with a light-green eyeshadow ~ laid-back, down to earth personality, with a sweet-tempered, motherly nature, but a bit easygoing and scatterbrained in some aspects ~ no overly distinct ambition like her younger sister Liliana, but still rather learned in the fields of her interests (medicine, herbology, divination) ~ loves harmony and is very concerned about the family’s well-being and solidarity ~ her assistant is a female owl named Hildegardis Disclaimer: Brushes and Patterns belong to ....
