But then, it doesn't feel like a part of mine either, right now. This part of me seems kinda numb, but I can still feel it. The pain's deep under the skin, pulsating and trying to break through. Like you're looking into a mirror. You're touching it. But you can't feel the touch of the hand on the other side of the glass. It doesn't feel real, doesn't feel like you. But you know, this reflection has to be you. And you know, the more force you use on the mirror, the easier it'll break and hurt you. But in that moment, you can't feel anything touching it. It's confusing, right?" |
