EDIT: he demanded and tipped up her chin. She gasped, and blushed.
"Look at me.", he demanded and she gasped, blushing.
She'd been starring at her feet again. She did that, sometimes. Divine had told her to be proud of who she was, of what she represented.
Now she did look at him, right into his intense green eyes and she knew he was talking but the words made no sense while he was looking at *her* like *that* and she knew that in a moment he would notice that she wasn't quite listening and then he'd get angry--!
Divine fought the smirk that wanted to plant itself on his face, possibly forever. He never grew tired of playing with his favorite little kitty.
