Schattentrilogie Brent Weeks, Durzo Blint, Kylar, Schattentrilogie

Von Durzo angetrieben, streckte Kylar die Hand nach Curoch aus. Durzo umfasste Kylars andere Hand mit beiden Händen. Es war eine untypisch zärtliche Geste, und Durzo hielt ihn fest, bis Kylar zu ihm aufblickte. Wie immer hatte Durzo keine Worte, aber in seinen Augen lagen Respekt, geteiltes Leid und Stolz. Es war die Miene eines Vaters, dessen Sohn etwas Großartiges getan hatte, und dieser Blick von Durzo sagte Kylar, dass er nicht länger eine Waise war.

- Eine wundervolle Geschichte geht zu Ende und lässt mich mal wieder in Tränen zurück -

LBM 2012 LBM 2012

Nachdem ich im letzten Jahr ja leider schändlich von meinen eigentlichen LBM-Partnern sitzengelassen wurde und mich zwei Tage lang ziemlich alleine durch die Gänge und Hallen gekugelt habe, war diese LBM sowas von total schön und ist fast kaum noch zu übertreffen.
Es ist wirklich lange her, dass ich dieses wunderbare Convention-Gefühl in vollen Zügen und mit allem was so dazu gehört genießen konnte: lange aufbleiben, lachen, scherzen, rumsitzen, andere Cosplayer begucken und bestaunen, Fast Food essen, rumlaufen, tolle Dinge einkaufen (an dieser Stelle möchte ich noch einmal mein neues Plüschi "Klein und Hässlich in einer Mütze" bei mir willkommen heißen), Fotos machen und einfach nur eine tolle Zeit miteinander haben.
Schade war dieses Jahr eigentlich nur, dass ich offensichtlich zwei Menschen verärgert habe, die ich eigentlich sehr mochte. Ich hatte mich gefreut beide einmal wieder zu sehen, doch die kühlen und reservierten Reaktionen haben mir gezeigt, dass ich wohl leider nicht mehr erwünscht bin... Wirklich schade.
Wie dem auch sei:

Ich möchte NanaBiz und Vittorio wirklich noch einmal herzlich danken, dass sie mich bei sich aufgenommen haben und mir so eine tolle LBM ermöglicht haben. Es war wirklich schön bei euch und vor allem wart ihr trotz alle dem üblichen Con-Stress so entspannt und ungestresst, dass man sich bei euch einfach nur wohlfühlen musste! (Einen speziellen Dank dann nochmal an Vittorio für diesen tollen Barty Crouch Jr.! Ich war so glücklich als Regulus nicht alleine sein zu müssen! =D)
Aber auch MissFabulous und Sanate und noch so einige andere haben dieses Wochenende wirklich zu einem Erlebnis gemacht, an das ich mich in Zukunft gerne zurückerinnern werde. Ich vermisse diesen lustigen und buntgewürfelten Haufen jetzt schon und kann es kaum erwarten euch alle mal wieder zu sehen!!
Danke an alle, die mir gezeigt haben, dass solche großen Conventions wirklich noch lohnen und einem Freude bereiten können.
