You said you were having a bad hair day
You said your eyes were puffy, and fell back asleep
Sulking, I silently took off my jacket,
Picked up the phone and ordered take out
Closed the curtain, and without knowing how many hours passed
Watching DVD’s

The sound of your breath as you leaned against my shoulder
I thought that it was a good thing we didn’t go out

　
　
"Baby... wake up..."
Gently, I nestled your arm but you only snuggled deeper into my shoulder, your
hands clinging into my shirt at my stomach. The TV was still on, the livingroom
darkened and only slightly lit by the lights of the advertising mumbling in the
background. The DVD had already stopped felt ages ago and I had switched to
normal TV program, didn't want to disturb your sleep, but by now it had gotten
late and we both would have to get up early in the morning. And I didn't want
your back to ache from that crumbled position you were in against my side.
"Five minutes...", I heard you mumble into my shirt and smiled.
"You've been already sleeping for two hours now..."
"Are you kiddin' me..?"
Slowly, you raised your head and returned my gaze, stretching your back and
mewling under the pain that spread in it. "Ow..."
"Bed?", I asked.
"Yeah..."
　
"Aki..?"
"Mh..?"
I was already half asleep as your head laid down on my shoulder and one of your
slim arms slipped around my torso. I took you into a warm embrace and patted
your hair slowly as I waited for you to go on.
Your fingertips drew small patterns on my side and I felt your warm breath on my
collarbone, your hair tickling me a little as you breathed slow and deep and the
mussed strands brushed over my skin. It was far past midnight already but I
didn't really care. The evenings we spent together had been rare recently
because we'd have a lot of fights over anything the last weeks.
Maybe you didn't notice, but I knew you haven't been far from breaking bonds
with me, even though I knew you loved me dearly. There had been words spoken, we
had hurt each other, and now, gladly, we made it up again. And by the way you
clung to me now I could tell that you had missed these evenings as much as I
had.
"Next time... wake me up."
"You were so tired..."
"But my back hurts like a bitch now and that's all your fault."
You moved and I felt weight on my chest, then your lips on my cheek.
"I'm sorry..."
"It's okay, just teasing.", you purred and kissed me, your hands flat on my
chest, one of your legs between mine, and as we broke, you snuggled closer to my
side and buried your face on my shoulder, then, slowly, I noticed you fall
asleep.
And I followed soon after.
