Kyle develops a crush on Mizuki very quickly. Since Mizuki doesn't wear his wedding ring at work, Kyle doesn't know his status and shamelessly flirts. Mizuki on the other hand is completely oblivious to this sort of behavior since nobody but Akaya has ever shown interest in him and is just being nice. As Kyle confesses at a late shift they took together, Mizuki obviously rejects him by saying he's happily married. Kyle refuses to believe that since Mizuki smells like a virgin to him and then goes on to almost rape him. Akaya stops him as he arrives to pick Mizuki up after work. Kyle and Akaya from then on have a pointless rivalry and hate each other.
