| The inspiration for this piece came from the song "Talk to me" by Cavetown. For anyone who hasn't listened to this song, it's a song about a person who encourages another person to talk to him. That he is there whenever the other one needs him. (The Song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHV1wZ7tzoA ) It reminded me of a conversation I had two weeks ago where a friend of mine wasn't doing so well and I listened to them while they're talking about what bothered him. The lyrics of this song also kind of reminds me of the conversation we have. "It's okay! Just be yourself! Because you are loved the way you are!" For some reason this piece made very sad. In fact so sad that I couldn't stop crying while working on this piece. I never felt this way for any of my pieces before and it was very weird to me. But yeah, I hope at least that you won't cry watching at this image, haha! And if you have to cry, a huuuge virtual hug is coming from me and all I can say is "It'll be better! Let it out as long as you feel good afterwards!" Also worth mentioning: I used a reference of Timotheé Chalamet for this image that I found on pinterest. |
