I just understood that the "sparkle" ist the music and her godessness perhaps? =) I am stupid. But you are wonderfully, painfully talented!

She is sheer perfection, this Zelda. I adore the cloudy, her dress (!!! the texture alone, it seems to be glowing!!!)
Her hands (tha shadwo wirk with her fingers amazes me). And the little sparkle you added gives motion and feeling.
Everytime you post something I think "this is my favourite work by her/him" and than you go on an post something else... I just can't decide.

I'm very happy because I struggled to paint her fingers.^^;
I've found your interpretation about the sparkles very nice because I have almost no idea about the sparkles. (I add them for giving some rhythms and motions in the picture)
So they express some motions, feeling, music or her sacred power.
